This was a Holland America tour, with four days on land and seven days on the cruise ship MS Westerdam.  (This was only my second large cruise ship, after Hawaii last year.  Earlier riverboat cruises were on the Nile in 2008, and on the Mississippi and Ohio rivers more recently.)

Margaret Grant and I enjoyed the trip immensely - we had good weather everywhere it mattered, especially in Denali National Park.  We saw lots of wildlife, too, as you’ll see on the photo pages.

The photos on each page are geotagged, so if you care you can see where each was taken, usually to within a few meters.  I haven’t edited them except to add GPS data to those not geotagged in-camera.  The photos have been size-reduced for the web, but I’d be happy to send you full-size individual photos, or a DVD with all of the photos.  I’ve also added a map showing where each day’s photos were taken.
