Feb. 25 - Mar. 4, 2023

This was another American Cruise Lines cruise, on the American Star which I had also been on in July 2022.  I had originally planned to be on a San Francisco Bay cruise instead, but circumstances forced me to change to this cruise, which I had originally booked for later in the year.  It was warmer than San Francisco Bay would have been, and much warmer than back home in Fort Collins - it was -18 the day I left, and the Florida lows were about 20 degrees warmer than the Fort Collins highs!  I’ve booked San Francisco for 2024.

For each day I’ve copied the ACL excursion descriptions, with any additional comments of my own in [brackets].

The photos are all geotagged, which means that you can see where each was taken, usually to within a meter or two.  The photos have not been edited in any way.  They’re size-reduced for the web, but I’d be happy to send you a full-sized photo, or all of the photos on a DVD.  I’ve also added a map showing where each day’s photos were taken.

Over the course of the week, we were on at least three rivers - St. John’s, Tolomoto, and Matanzas.  We also were briefly just inside Georgia.
